Pamukkale Travertenleri'nin İngilizce tanıtımı şu şekilde yapılabilir: "Pamukkale, meaning “cotton castle” in Turkish, is a natural site in Denizli in southwestern Turkey. The area is famous for a carbonate mineral left by the flowing water. Those waters are used for drinking and bathing. They are recommended for the treatment of rheumatic, dermatological and gynecological diseases, neurological and physical exhaustion, digestive maladies and nutritional disorders. The history of Pamukkale goes back to 2 BC. Since the Hellenistic period, it has had strong civilizations. 2,000 years ago, the Kingdom of Pergamum could not resist the attractiveness of Pamukkale travertines and built the City of Hierapolis next to the travertines. The ancient city of Hierapolis takes its name from Hiera, the wife of the King of Pergamum. Pamukkale was included in the World Heritage List by UNESCO in 1988 due to these natural beauties. Pamukkale is a tourist attraction. It is recognized as a World Heritage Site together with Hierapolis. The translation of the text may contain errors.
